So, in addition to all that other neat stuff I said I would be doing today I also knitted a hat for Ed… I modified a pattern I found online and changed a solid blue stripe into a line of Space Invaders… check it!

I cast on 80 stiches over 4 size 10 double pointed needles.



it’s around this point that I decided to draw a space invaders pattern for my hat.



so, there’s that



once the hat was around 9 inches long I threw some stitch markers on and started to do my decreases until…



BOOM!… you got a hat…



and a snazzy hat wearing boyfriend
